That being said, I don't have the most faith in myself so I'm going to start of doing Level 1, which is 1-5 books. It's being hosted by Somewhere Only We Know and Words Fueled by Love, so hopefully I'll see a few of you join me in this challenge! And if you're not interested in that one, or want to be crazy like me and do TWO WHOLE CHALLENGES, you could always try this one:
And unsurprisingly, I'm going to go the underachiever route and start with Level 1, which is also 1-5 books. I really want to get to at least First Kiss though! I need to get my TBR pile under control. I think I'm only going to count books that have been physically been sitting on my bookshelves at home though since that's what I'm most concerned with as the ones on my Kindle take up 0 room! This is hosted by Bookish, so head on over and join with me!
Once again, I'm going for the baby level but that's because I'm trying to cut back on my ARCs. But I know I still have quite a few to review that I requested last year, so here goes with Level Apprentice (1 - 10 books). This is hosted by Rachel @ Fiktshun and Reanna @ Phantasmic Reads.
And last but not least, a review challenge! Other than the TBR one this is what I REALLY need. But unlike all the other challenges, I'm going all the way to the top - Mad Reviewer (104 books)! I figure since I didn't realllly start blogging until June and managed to review 49 books this year, I should be able to make it if I push myself. This one is hosted by The Mad Reviewer, and if you're a book blogger, you've definitely got nothing to lose since you'll be reviewing books anyway!

Brilliant challenges! I hope you achieve them.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I got a mention!! And you picked some fun challenges I think. (Secretly I like doing them because I am extremely list-oriented and it makes me happy when I add or cross stuff off lists). :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for signing up to participate with us in the Series Enders Reading Challenge! You can do it! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteNew GFC and Bloglovin' follower too!
Holly @ Words Fueled by Love
It feels so satisfying! I'm hoping the challenges will be more satisfaction than stress haha
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have high hopes :) Thanks for the follow - I'm following you by e-mail!
ReplyDeleteThanks for signing up for the Series Enders Reading Challenge! 1-5 should be easily done. There are so many good enders coming out this year. Thanks again!

Also, new follower!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm feeling good about finishing this! It's not that I don't read a ton of books...I just read what I feel like, so challenges are difficult for me haha. BUT I can do all of these for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow!
Good luck! I'm participating in the first 3 challenges, too :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I don't think I actually know anyone else doing these so maybe you can help me keep motivated!
ReplyDeleteSure, and you can totally do it :) It's fun!
ReplyDeleteJust choose at least one book for every month for every challenge, or a few, and make sure that you read it & review it & link it up on the monthly post, and it will help you to just keep on going, at least it worked for me in 2013:)
I made quite a dent in my TBR pile, as well on the finishing series aspect in 2013, though I participated in the Don't Let It End Reading Challenge, which is only 5 months long, not this one, but this year I'm doing both, and I'm hoping the Review Pile Challenge will make me read more books that I've received for review, I'm really behind on them, and I still can't seem to stop myself from requesting more on NetGalley :)
Just have fun, and make lists, I always make reading lists, and then I don't follow them, but I think it helps,
maybe, I don't now, I'm actually a moody reader, so I usually pick my next read depending on my mood.
I'm a pretty moody reader too, but I think lists would probably help. Especially with Netgalley as I'm feeling pretty unmotivated about my ARC's right now. I'll have to try this - thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I'm not known for remembering to do things, but I think I have a handle on these ones :)
